The Peer Assistance Leadership and Support (PALS) program is a joint project of the Metropolitan School Board and the Metropolitan Nashville Education Association. Through the PALS program, a group of experienced teachers work together with new teachers to MNPS. These mentor teachers, PALS, work in a confidential, non-evaluative setting with their mentees.

The goal of the PALS program is to ensure that teachers experience success in the classroom by receiving the support and assistance needed, thus prefacing the future achievements for MNPS teachers and students.
